Nora's Thread Story

Nora*, in her late 30s, came to us concerned that the lower half of her face was beginning to look less defined. She particularly noticed deeper nasolabial folds (the natural skin creases that run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth) and felt that her mid and lower face looked slightly heavier than it had previously.

She wanted to look fresher and more lifted, but was keen to avoid an overfilled appearance or anything that would significantly change her natural facial features.

Her main goal was subtle rejuvenation and improved facial definition.

During her consultation with Nora, Dr Denise assessed her facial structure, skin quality and degree of tissue laxity. They discussed the different treatment options available. Taking Nora's individual anatomy and goals into consideration, a PDO thread lift was selected as the most suitable approach.

A bespoke treatment plan was created, focusing on the mid and lower face, with particular attention to the nasolabial fold area and overall facial support. The threads were strategically placed to provide subtle lifting (3 PDO threads mid face and 2 PDO threads lower face) and improve the appearance of the treated areas while maintaining a natural result.

At her 4-week review, comparison photographs showed a softer appearance of the nasolabial folds, improved definition through the mid and lower face, and a more supported facial contour.
